TransEgo Therapy

TransEgo Therapy Lotus
                                   Brief Spiritual Psychotherapy
                                   for Awakening Souls

TransEgo Therapy Format

TransEgo Therapy is an experiential clinical intervention that may last between 45 and 75 minutes. During the session, the therapist assists the client to become very specific about the issue at hand. Subsequently, the client will be invited to raise his or her vibrational energy to experience the challenging situation from the position of a (more or less) conscious observer.

To further facilitate this process, the ever-active mind of the client will be given assignments to “get out of the way.”  TransEgo Therapy supports the client to release Self-limiting (sub)conscious thought-structures, and create space for an innate process of resilience to occur and wisdom to surface.  Since TET  is experiential in nature, the gains are not just on a cognitive level: the shifts are likely to be permanent.

TransEgo Therapy integrates a variety of therapeutic disciplines, such as brief, outcome focused therapy, transpersonal and positive psychology, NLP, EMDR, and Ericksonian hypnotherapy.

"My favorite was when I was asked to think back to even before I was
born.  It gave me great peace about where I am in my life.  It all seems
to fit into the plan."

Phases

TransEgo Therapy consists of 5 distinctive phases:

  1. Pre-engagement

The clinician focuses and raises his or her own vibrational energy.

  2. Identification

The client identifies the issue and makes it specific.

  3. Spiritual Connection

The client aligns and reinforces his/her spiritual experience.

  4. Processing

From a higher level of conscious the client experiences the challenging situation and witnesses the unfolding of an intrinsic healing process: emotional blockages transform, insights emerge, and an altered state of being is reached.

  5. Integration

The client integrates the changes.

"Amazing how significant the part of foot tapping & reverse counting
played, creating better balance!"

Client Centered

The clinician works with a TET-worksheet, which guides him or her through the therapeutic process and has 26 steps. Even though the process is highly structured, the therapist needs to remain alert and acknowledge the process of the client. The TET-format helps the client align with a higher consciousness and whenever the client becomes aware of a certain sensation or insight, it is imperative that the therapist allows space for exploration—even if this interrupts the sequence. The format is always secondary to the process of the client.

"I felt very calm, comfortable, and very relaxed.  Also, I saw the therapist
as someone totally interested in my well being.  His voice and manner
were soothing."

In Person vs. Telephone Therapy

TransEgo Therapy has been developed as a therapeutic intervention that can be offered over the phone. This route will eliminate travel and waiting time, travel cost, and increases convenience. However, if the therapist doesn't know the client or isn't regularly meeting in person, it is strongly discouraged to offer telephone therapy when the client has thoughts of suicide, homicide, self harm, has experienced severe traumatic situations, or has a psychotic disorder. This needs to be assessed at the beginning of the session and the therapist will refer the client to more appropriate services, such as crisis services or suicide hot lines.

"Experiencing the session in a place of my choice promoted a greater feeling of peacefulness & relaxation."

Why Short Term?

While long term therapy may be useful in some cases, TransEgo Therapy is focused on assisting individuals to quickly raise their energy and increase awareness in areas where they are stuck. TET helps clients get “un-stuck” and create movement.  Once there is movement again, it is usually more effective to continue the process outside the therapy room. Life itself is our best therapist.

"What has been very useful in the weeks following is that I can more
easily jar my thoughts out of a negative pattern by either recalling the
positive scene from the session or by repeating the tapping technique."

The InnerGuidance Network and TransEgo Therapy

The InnerGuidance Network (IGN) offers a platform to further integrate the changes and continue the process. IGN gives awaking souls the opportunity to network with other kindred spirits, near and far. IGN offers a free online course at www.InnerGuidanceNetwork.org and local Spirits Onymous groups.

"I was brought into a calm and relaxed state, and then my issue causing
fear anxiety was reintroduced.  I no longer felt that initial anxiety and fear."
