Therapists

TransEgo Therapy can be offered in your office; however, it is specifically developed for telephone therapy; which provides a myriad of advantages: flexibility, convenience, no travel cost, no travel time, no office rent, no insurance paperwork, and you will be able to offer your services coast-to-coast.

TransEgo Therapy is offered by licensed clinicians with a TET Clinician Certificate. Master’s level professionals in the field of social work, psychology or related field, and master level students may also offer TransEgo Therapy--as long as they have a TET Clinician Certificate and receive direct supervision from a licensed clinician.

To enroll in the TET-Clinician training, you must have a master’s degree in social work,  psychology or related field, or be enrolled as a graduate level student in a relevant field of study. A certificate of TransEgo Therapy Clinician is only valid if the holder is a licensed clinician or is directly supervised by one. In order to obtain a certificate, you must complete the TransEgo Therapy-Core Training. The training is a stand-alone one-day workshop (CE Credits*). Completion of the Core Training satisfies the first of four requirements in obtaining a TransEgo Therapy Clinician I Certificate.

1. TET Core Training
2. A minimum of 3 TET-session with a TET-Clinician
2. Completion of 20 documented practice sessions
3. Practical test: conducting a TET-session over the phone

After completion of 20 practice sessions (not more than 2 sessions with the same individual) and submission of the documentation, a practical test via the telephone will be scheduled. During the test, the student will conduct a TET-session and will be asked some basic questions. After passing the test, the participant will acquire a TransEgo Therapy Clinician I Certificate.
